Fire at Wolf’s Grocery Causes Damage to Shul Building

fire-boxOn Monday night September 7th, a fire broke out in Wolf’s grocery store next to our shul, destroying the store completely. B”H our shul is basically intact, however it did sustain smoke, water, and fire department damage. The sifrei torah were rescued and taken to the shul across the street.

The shul was B”H properly insured, and we expect full reimbursement for the necessary repairs. However, our shul building will not be usable for the next 4-6 weeks as the repairs are being performed. We are hard at work searching for temporary quarters that will house our shul during this time.

As always, we will keep you posted with any information we have concerning these developments.
